Downstream:Upstream These are two of a series of photographs taken whilst exploring the River Mersey. The river runs from Stockport in the east to Liverpool in the West, and many bridges cross over it. I have been documenting the Mersey using photography and making sculpture by visiting these geographical points. I have selected these two images because of the contrast that is apparent between the two halves of the image. Both were taken from the same place, one looking down river, the other looking up river. |
