Dyingfrog is a Merseyside-based artist network which facilitates projects, exhibitions and artist-led workshops.
Dyingfrog was founded in 2004 by the Liverpool-based artist, Dave Bixter. Dave graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a degree in Fine Art. After feeling that there was a lack of support in the city for new graduates, he established Dyingfrog to create a network of like-minded individuals and organisations. The Dyingfrog website was launched in 2005 and the organisation has continued to grow in terms of members, partners and related projects.
